Day1 - Chiru addressed a series of meetings at Kodangal, Kosgi, Maddur, Damaragidda, Narayanpet, Utkoor, Makthal, Marikal and Devarkadra on the first day of his four-day Praja Ankitha yatra in the district on Friday.
Chiru said that his party would provide employment to 10 lakh youth within 1,000 days after forming the government and free power to farmers for atleast 10 hours daily.
He accused the Congress and the erstwhile TDP government of swindling public money and appealed to the people to elect his party for a corrupt-free and clean governance. “I entered politics on your invitation, give me a chance to serve you. I promise you a different government where people would get social justice,” he said asking the people to vote for change.
Chiranjeevi said that there was plenty of resources available in the district but the government failed to develop Mahabubnagar. Krishna river traverses through the district but the successive governments failed to provide not only drinking water but also water for irrigation. Earlier, on his arrival near Kodangal town, Chiranjeevi was given a rousing reception by the party activists.
