Chiranjeevi kicked off his Nellore tour details today i.e. 4th Jan and held meetings in Sullupet, Naidupet and Venkatagiri.
All the meetings were highly successfull with unprecedented turnouts. The meeting at Gudur is just over now.
The meeting at Naidupet could not be held as the Police prevented his meeting. People from the surrounding villages lined up the route.
The salient points of his speeches were
1. The pressure tactics used by the present government and politiciansin trying to suppress the MOVEMENT called Prajarajyam. Let then do whatever they want - When you hit a tennis ball hard into the ground, it will rebound with more force - If they spit against the sun, the spit will fall back on thier faces. Defending Kalyan's speech at Indirapark, he said, WHEN THE POLITICIANS CALL EACH OTHER SO MANY DEGRAGING NAMES, WHEN THEY BEHAVE LIKE CRIMINALS IN THE ASSEMBLY, WHY ARE THEY GETTING SO WORKED UP WHEN KALYAN CALLED A SPADE A SPADE?
2. He also questioned the intention of the government starting so many irrigation projects at such huge cost and wonderd when they would be complete and who would gain the REAL benefit if at all they are completed. Meanwhile the politicians have become very rich in the guise of these projects
3. He touched upon the issus of the farmers and the Weavers and promised to get the Venkatagiri Sarees patented.
Despite all the negative attention and the media propoganda, there is still and will be tremendous support for the PRAJARAJYAM MOVEMENT
