On the third day, today, Kalyan could not hold the meeting since there was a massive gathering of fans and physically challenged people who wanted to meet him and the meeting auditoruim could not accomodate the crowd. However in the brief speech that he made, he said, WHERE THERE IS INEQUALITY, WHERE THERE IS CORRUPTION, WHERE THERE ARE TEARS, I WOULD BE THERE ALONG WITH THE PEOPLE...and this is POLITICS....and NOTHING ELSE. he promised that beedi workers would get access to Health Insurance schemes.
On the second day, Kalyan promised to spend money from his pocket and get borewells for the villagers in the tribal hamlets.
He later visited the coal mines and went into the tunnels and met the workers.
Met the tribal villagers who were afflicted with mysterious illnesses and are dying for lack of proper health care....and also met the victims of malnutrition and said that is indeed sad if after 62 years of Independance, we can not feed the entire population of India.
