Praja Rajyam chief K. Chiranjeevi on Friday dropped some indications of the broad alternative strategy his party had in mind to get a common election symbol, even while maintaining that the party was banking mainly on the Supreme Court.
In response to several questions on this issue at a press conference, Mr. Chiranjeevi said that one of the options before his party was to field candidates in the name of regional party of another State.
Later, talking to reporters in Hyderabad, he confirmed that the Praja Rajyam was in talks with several political parties across the country for sharing their symbol.
