Youth dared the scorching sun for four hours in the MGM grounds at Hindupur as they patiently waited for the arrival of the ‘power star’. Even the girls did not move from the place and when he arrived finally they gave him a rousing welcome.Parties had been deceiving people for ages and they had been working only for leaders’ benefit forgetting uplift and development of people. Moved by the plight of people Chiranjeevi had formed PR with an objective to ensure basic needs, employment and development of people. He predicted that PR would win 70-80 seats in the first phase and 180 over all .At Hindupur, he sought to know from people why they kept quiet when Ministers N. Raghuveera Reddy and J.C. Diwakar Reddy had challenged them to beat with brooms, if they failed to get water to the town by 2008-end. Water was not coming properly even to some select localities in the town even after inaugurating the project four months ago
