The third day afternoon meeting was a super success with almost 25,000 people at Kovur and the Kavali meeting is scheduled for the evening and the police tried to disrupt Chiru's meeting yet again.
The Kavali meeting had the people listening to Chiru's "action points" in rapt attention and they cheered him when he announced that “The Praja Rajyam will order an inquiry, if it comes to power, into the scams that occurred during the Congress regime and punish the culprits,”
He further added that the PRP, which was committed to rooting out corruption, would maintain a strict vigil to prevent corruption in future.
Motkuru sabha will start soon and there is a huge unprecedented turnout with people, farm labourers etc coming in tractors...
Podalkuru sabha is a grand success with a huge turnout...where Chiru exhorted the people to kick out these polluted politicians and usher in a change where government would be accountable to the public.
The meeting in Nellore is over and it can only be described as - NEVER BEFORE.
Chiru questioned the logic behind taking over 6000 acres of land for the Krishnapatnam Port and wondered "If the Vizag port which is one of the largest in Asia can be 1000 acres, why should be Krishnapatnam port which is much smaller than the Vizag Port be 6000 acres? Where is all this land going? What has happenned to the original landowners?"
